Ink Cartridges
« on: August 06, 2015, 08:48:19 PM »
Just wondering where others buy their computer ink cartridges from - best price?

I could do with buying the XL as using the printer quite a bit at the moment.

My son faced the same problem a year or so ago - found it was cheaper to buy a new canon printer with ink cartridges already installed than buying replacement cartridges!!

Mine is a newish printer so don't want to change it just yet.
We looked in Smiths ( Chesterfield ) yesterday £37.00 for an XL !!

I have bought them cheaper from Tesco but they rarely seem to have the XL in.

I just buy the ink on ebay & refill them myself. just top them up a little at a time through the small holes with a syringe.  Don't let them go completely empty & dry out !

I use a refil kit for black ink, printing letters, work sheets etc, but keep a 'Canon' colour cartridge in an airtight bag for photos etc.
Not found a colour refil kit, or budget price cartridge that can match brand name bought cartridges for my printer yet.
Yet I used to for my last Canon printer  :-X
