Haven't really seen that much of it, I think the coverage has been a bit poor, and the BBC seem determined to constantly dig up bad news about it, probably because ITV got most of  the rights. I'm hoping England get through, if the results fall right we will end up playing Spain, while we are there next week. Dreading the Olympics coverage though, football is the national game.......running is what you do when you miss the bus!

Fills the gap nicely between the end of last season and the beginning of next, shame major tournaments are only every 2 years

Isnt that Sky Sports?

The Football is on for 2 weeks.  For the remaining 50 weeks of the year we have to suffer shite like Eastenders and Coronation Street.

What's wrong with the 'normal' TV setting up a special sports channel, if they put it all on sky sports I would be well pleased but they don't - so they could run a year round sports channel - covering all sports not  just football.

As with everything, its all down to cost.  Im sure the sports that get shown get a lot of cash inputs when they buy the rights to show.  If they did it on 'normal' TV it would be full of adverts (still thats better then cricket)  *ducks*

Apart from the BBC I think all of them get adverts  >:( if you tape a half hour programme and fast forward the adverts you get about 20mins >:(
Apart from showing the sports we get the news inundated with it as well  >:(
