Discs for my pictures
« on: March 05, 2014, 08:42:29 PM »
I have lots of discs to transfer from my video recorder stuff so we can view via the TV but I could do with some for my pictures/ videos which are in my pc so I can transfer them and look at via TV.
What type do I need?
I did go into a local shop the other week for another memory stick but couldn't find a member of staff on the shop floor to ask

DVD - R should be ok for everything. Just make them data disks not video disks. Most DVD players will pick up pictures and videos off of them. Hope that helps, can't believe I'd not already replied  ;)

Sent from my Nexus cos I've just put the bloody laptop away  ;D

What software are you using to transfer the stuff to disk. Roxio, Cyberlink etc

Will be seeing you in the morning OC, doubt we will be talking about computers after, under the circumstances.
I'll sort this out for you later on in the week. Unless you can copy all the stuff you want onto USB sticks tonight and bring them me. I'll copy them to disk for you. Save you the hassle. eg me trying to tell you what to do, and you trying to do it.
Just a thought  ;)

Thanks Fly. I'm currently needing to buy a new PC/Laptop and once I have hopefully transfered over all my stuff I will get back to you on it.  :)
It's all currently in my external hard drive
