What are you doing over Easter?
« on: April 03, 2015, 07:17:52 PM »
We won't be going far as I'm not driving yet and hubby doesn't drive.
So having a quiet Easter at home, may go for a short walk if the weathers OK.
Daughter and friend should be coming for lunch on Sunday - so will have my pinny on in the kitchen, and maybe a few units of Pinot  ;)

Anyone doing anything exciting?

Off down to the County tonight to see The Pitz.

Tomorrow, sleeping off the hangover in the morning and out with my new wide angle lens for some photography in the afternoon.

Monday - out with my eldest's family.

Tuesday - off to Darley Dale to teach web design and picnic with a friend if weather is ok - or maybe a new restaurant

Wednesday - back to work... :(
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Maybe it's time for a career change Jon - you'd get more time in the pub... ;)

We had my uncle visiting  this morning for a couple of hours, recently widowed and his in 80's I had made him a Shepherds Pie.
We chatted about the past and I promised to show him some of my photo's of his deceased wife and also the Dog Kennels site which Pete has put on here when he came again as he was born in Chesterfield.

My afternoon has been spent copying documents for a Y/P I am supporting -
Time for a glass of Pinot now  ;)
Oh and watch Casualty  :)

Can't get back into LG and anywhere else that does 9-5 mon-fri wants relevant experience over the last two years. And as soon as they read supermarket they figure all I do is stack shelves or work on checkouts. The notion that I probably do more 'office work' than most office workers is beyond them!!

Depends what you have done in the past JR and which qualities combined with experience you could take to other work - only you would know that.
Things have a habit of cropping up when we least expect them too and it's a case of going for it  :)

Oh dear sounds as if Fly and Pete's plans haven't gone as they hoped.
I've actually had a short drive in the car today - the first for 7 weeks.  :)

I did exactly what I had planned to do all weekend - very little. The furthest I've been is round to the garage this afternoon to put some new number plates on my Audi - boy, was it hot out there! A friend of mine in northern France said they'd had a frost last night and it hadn't risen above 10C all day.
