We have a Red Kite in our village, I saw it on Monday - if you are a bird watcher I believe four of these birds have been released in Derbyshire.
How long is it since Derbyshire had any flying in our skies???

By shear coincidence, I saw a huge bird of prey over the allotments near us this afternoon. Then I realised . . . . . .
It was a kite, to scare the pigeons away
