Just heard an advert on the radio for 'Maureen 118 - 212' directory enquiries service, and was flabbergasted when I heard the cost of a call....... £4.49 per call + £4.49 per minute, with s minimum charge of 1 minute!

That makes the cost of one call for one number a staggering £8.98!!!

How on earth can that be justified?

If you do use them, which I have just the once(I learnt the expensive way!!), don't let them put you through to the number you want because they still charge you for every minute your connected to your call and you then get the actual call costs on top as well.

Yep I was told steer clear of anything that began 118

The t.v. commercials for 118-118 don't tell you what your paying.
