Bolsover Council have their decision meeting today, so should know later which way they have swung  :-X

I can only presume the majority vote wins. That's the democratic way isn't it.
Unless there's an even number of voters, then it's probably down to Mavis the cleaner  :))

Meant to post last night, so basically, and in non techy speak .  .  .  .  . 
Bolsover voted to be with the Derby/Notts group of councils.
Chesterfield went with the Sheffield group.

But it's all boll**** really because nothing is set in stone until the Gov say Ok LOL  (y)

Only heard a brief clip about this yesterday and i thought Bolsover had gone with Sheffield vote - BBC news?

This page shows who is a member of the Sheffield Region Authority. It's probably not up to date.
I presume a non-constituent member doesn't get to vote on matters, this would be Chesterfield according to the page at present. Now they have voted to be a constituent member, they will.
