iPhone with iTunes
« on: February 17, 2014, 08:01:26 PM »
Now as some of you know, im not a fan of Apple stuff which is why im asking this on behalf of one of my friends as I cant work it out.

She has a Iphone 4 and apparently the only way to transfer music to it is via iTunes.  So the phone was plugged in and Itunes downloaded.  I added the files of the music (mp3) to iTunes and they show up.  However, how do you sync it to transfer the tracks?

When the phone is unplugged, they dont show anywhere.

What am i doing wrong?

Im a bomb technician.  If you see me running, try and keep up

Only sync mine to ipod not iphone

There are alternative ways of transferring music but itunes is a great program

There are dozens of ways of setting smart playlists which is something you don't get on other mp3 players, evem a Genius playlist where you select a song and it adds another 24 that it thinks you would like based on your choice.

Got 40000 songs on my latest ipod (in complete albums contrasting with my old one that had around 4000 of my favourite tracks) so it would take a while to play the lot

It should try to sync when you connect it as my iphone brings up itunes even though I don't want it to

I'll have a look at it for you Simon - where does your friend live?
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
