Why isn't football like real life?
« on: February 13, 2012, 02:56:21 PM »
My performance at work is poor.
I'm not motivating my team.
The results are not what the company bosses are expecting.
Thus I get fired.
What are the chances of Tesco or Asda ringing me up after a couple of months and offering me a job? I think you'd agree pretty minimal.

This morning Mick McCarthy got sacked.
So who are the favorites to succeed him?
Steve Bruce. Sacked by Sunderland for poor results and failing to motivate his team
Neil Warnock ditto QPR
Alan Curbishley ditto West ham
David Jones ditto Cardiff and FFS Wolves!

How does that work?
I'm not an Alcoholic. They go to meetings
I'm a drunk I go to the pub

Isn't Fabio looking for a job, well probably not considering how much he wangled out of the FA.

As Bill Shankly once answered to this question..  'To you football is a matter of life or death!'
and he said 'Listen, it's more important than that'."
