M1 roadworks
« on: December 03, 2013, 08:15:55 PM »
Can anyone explain why there are now over 10 miles of 50mph average speed cameras on the M1 from J29a to J32?

I can understand why they are doing it - replacement of central barrier to concrete - but why the hell for 10 miles.

I came that way this morning and from the 10 mile point to the 7 mile point I saw no workers or vehicles.  From 7 to the end there wasnt that much going off and what there was probably only covered a could of miles in total.

Yes it needs doing but not in a 10 mile stretch, that concrete machine they use moves extremely slowly.  Why not 2 or 3 miles at a time?

I now have this wonderful experience until Spring 2015.  Whoopeeefu*kingdoo.
