For years there was an urban myth that Bob Holness played sax on Baker Street, perhaps one of the best known sax pieces in popular music. The Deep Purple one wasn't my original idea, someone posted it on Facebook.

Duran Duran got their name from Barbarella

Thompson Twins got their name from Tin Tin.....and weren't twins....and I saw live at Sheff. City Hall back in the day.

We could start a whole new thread on band names, lol...

But Deacon Blue are one of my all time favorite bands.

Until she started to move, then it was like watching a tipsy aunt at a wedding - absolutely no sense of rhythm. Sophie Ellis-Bextor is another one who sways like wheelie bin on a windy day.
