Any Coin Collectors
« on: June 17, 2015, 08:07:00 PM »
We have quite a few old coins, the oldest in 1700 and something.

Quite a few are commemorative coins from Sheffield.

Also a few from the 1800's.

Another one is Edward V111 Coronation 12 May 1937.

Are there any coin collector shops in Chesterfield?

Have A look on Ebay for a valuation.
I'm not a avid collector, just picked a few up in past when out and about,
but have looked on ebay for prices.

OK thanks Kent.
You haven't come across any round white coins which are very detailed with design and figures on have you?
They look as if they may have been tokens but have figures of men on working or a pagoda ?
Can't find anything on the internet about them - just curious what they are.

I seem to remember Howes mens hairdressers having old coins in the window opposite the Regal. That one dunsweepin?
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
