Tory Defence Secretary sacked.
« on: May 02, 2019, 08:51:01 PM »
Theresa May has sacked Gavin Williamson as Defence Secretary despite his "strenuous" denial that he was responsible for the unprecedented leak of information from the National Security Council (NSC).

Theresa May acted following the leak of secret discussions surrounding the Huawei 5G contract.

It is thought the sacking is the first time a Cabinet minister has been sacked following a leak investigation.

The sacking was swiftly followed by calls from Labour and Liberal Democrats for a criminal investigation into whether Mr Williamson had breached the Official Secrets Act, but Downing Street made clear Mrs May now considers the matter "closed".

Guy Burgess, Antony Blunt and George Blake and Cronyism spring to mind!!
Stupidity is infinitely more fascinating that intelligence.
Intelligence has its limits while stupidity has none.

At least this guy {if the allegation is proved} wanted to warn about the Nations defence.

What about the years and years the Tories {and yes the other lot} have thrown billions and billions of pounds of taxpayers money on computer systems that don't work, the N.H.S. system is or was a good example or the modern fire and rescue headquarters, built about 6 years ago now, apparently still stood empty as they can't get the system in there to work.

P.S. apparently most of these systems were bought from America.
I am not a pessimist, I just help them out when they're busy.
