Title: Violence at Christmas
Post by: Anon on December 14, 2011, 03:53:54 PM
One thing that makes my blood boil is the amount of violence on the streets and in pubs during the Christmas period.

A holiday to celebrate the birth of Jesus (no, I'm not religious) someone who preached that we should love our neighbours and forgive our enemies...

Nail on head mate - drunks either profess their undying love for you or start a fight! What's that all about?   ???

Totally agree - one of my bosses at the AGD used to say "when drinks in, wits out", how true.

Last friday was supposed to be the worst day for drink related violence and most dangerous on the roads. Think people who don't normally drink get carried away at xmas parties.
