And today...

David Cameron and Barack Obama have spoken by phone to discuss the worsening situation in Gaza, according to Downing Street.

"Both leaders reiterated their support for Israel's right to take proportionate action to defend itself from the barrage of rocket attacks from Gaza", a No 10 spokeswoman said.

Proportionate action? They aren't watching the tv reports that I'm watching. Home-made rockets verses the might of American missiles by Israel, the 4th largest military power on the planet.

Thieves and murderers more like. Steal their country then murder them if they object.

It's a lot of heavy reading I really shouldn't attempt this time of night.

So far I'm thinking:
Who funds the Palestinian rockets etc they keep firing into Israel.
The USA and UK make no gain by helping the palestinians. Oil gas etc.
Also saw a bit about Hitler, WW2, and the Jews making a stance now. Ironic  :-?
 
Any one want to 'fill me in with the basics I might be missing'. I don't bite LOL :-)

The UK and USA always seem to defend Israel, who profess they are only interested in the 'tunnel' which Palestine's use.
This is a conflict which has been going for a long time.
Why are they covering up what is really happening?

That's the difference between this conflict and other atrocities in that part of the word, the aggressor is backed by the western governments and western media.

The BBC didn't mention the massive protest in London (as it didn't mention the rallies in the public sector strike). A toddler toddling was obviously more important news.

Israel and USA are the biggest threat to world peace, instability in the Middle East suits them giving the opportunity to get tame puppet rulers in
