Paging Slacker

Is the Val Graham from whom tickets can be obtained for the local parliamentary candidates debate THE Val Graham?
Because if it is the likelihood of an unbiased event would seem to be slightly diminished?

So that's yes it is on both counts then. Pray tell why are the other candidates even prepared to take part in a debate where the organisers are clearly biased towards one candidate? ( though I guess some would argue the same about the national debates and the media!)

They accepted a while ago. There was a similar event 5 years ago that was attended at the Winding Wheel. I think there as already been a smaller hustings even but not sure of details. If any prospective MO is worried about such an event I'm not sure they are equipped to take part in a parliamentary debate
