General Discussion / Re: Queen Elizabeth II
« on: September 11, 2022, 12:47:03 AM »
King Charles will do exactly the same as his mother, and that is to do as the government damn well tells him, sorry i mean "advises him", even the sycophants at the grovelling BBC got it wrong today they reported that charles had been sworn in as king and followed this with the Queens body will travel from balmoral and so on, she is no longer the Queen so the Queens body will not be travelling anywhere, they are so overwhelmed by their own fawning and obsequiousness they can't even engage in acurate reporting, King Charles, Queen Samantha Fox or King Cliff Richard or Queen Hatty (our cat) neither of them will make a pennies worth of difference  to me or to the lives of my familly the Monarchy are just an irrelevance, so lets cut the crap and get back to normal.

i suppose all my favorite TV programmes will now be suspended and replaced with programmes of the lickspittles at the bbc  and other news channels and the newspapers will be fawning over her memory rather than any subjective reporting of her death, i told my missus that she had died and her response was thats very sad and then added what did she ever do for us.
Oh how right i was the brownnose broadcasting corporation went into full throttle groveling on all their channells it was truly bile inducing forget balance and impartiality it was a fawn fest of monumental proportions and i as a reluctant licence payer funded it, 50-68% of british people question the role of or the need for a monarchy where were their voices, and now we are about to be the subjects of a serial adulterer and his concubine.

Politics / Re: Labour response to Boris party

They are an embarresment to our country. The impression to other countries will be 'immature, ignorant, boozy sexual predators with a we can do what we want attitude'.
I'm sure not everyone in their party is like this but unfortuantely this is the impression we are getting from them.
It's not good is it.

My dad worked in the pits and factories. We were brought up to respect others and conduct ourselves in a proper manner - this shower give the impression they have been 'dragged up'
I'm both annoyed and very embarrased by their behaviour.
that is an insult to those of us who have been dragged up, i never felt the need either to hold lockdown parties, father numerous children with an array of floosies or grab a mans bottom and groin.

Politics / Now we see why boris will not go
« on: July 09, 2022, 01:25:24 PM »
It is reported today that attacks on a Tory leadership contender (Rishi Sunak) have come from number 10 Downing Street, Boris is up to his oft used tactics of throwing grenades into the Parliamentary Democratic process and standing back to watch and revel in the rusulting mayhem both in Parliament and the country, unless we get rid of Boris from number 10 his enduring tenure will continue to cause major problems right up until the point he is finally shown the door.

Politics / Brexit
« on: July 08, 2022, 02:29:49 PM »
As the Brexit nightmare rumbles on Mr Persona (Kier Starmmer) has decided to throw his brexit hat in the ring prompting me to contact our local MP as follows.

Dear Mr Perkins, i write to register my dismay at new the Labour policy of not rejoining the single market or the customs union, if you look at the poll results now that people have had a true taste of what brexit is rather than the lies of Johnson and his band of deluded brexiteers if the vote to leave the EU was to happen today more people would vote to remain than leave, with this in mind it would make more sense to keep the Labour Parties options open, however Mr Persona seems to think different, with this in mind i think the only credible alternative at the next election is to cast my vote for the liberal Party. regards Dave Howard Chesterfield resident

In summation i have not voted for the corrupt and abusive Labour led Council since 2013 and now it seems my Divorce from Labour is absolute..

I'm surprised there's not been a post made already  ;D :))
It is not bye bye Boris yet more is the pity, he is hanging on in the hope that something will turn up that will allow him to remaine in power, however he should heed his own words Leave means LEAVE and go now, and to paraphrase David Davis, you have been here to long for all the catastrophic damage you have done for gods sake go and go now.

Driving home via Coniston Road sunday morning, when i saw the aftermath of what looks like a very serious crash, so later when i went out again i was able to get more stills from my dashcam, though the fronts of the cars ar bashed up very badly the cabins of both cars look intact so i doubt there will be any serious injuries

General Discussion / New Jeremy Kyle documentary
« on: March 15, 2022, 01:33:19 AM »
I hope fans of this Bully will watch this latest Jeremy Kyle exposay, i remember once denouncing him on this very forum and others leaped to his defence claiming he was "helping people".
If i disliked him before this programme i now despise him with a passion, his way of hectoring the poor and vulnerable never sat easy with me however after watching this disgusting excuse of a man i have come to realise that my dislike was just the tip of the iceberg, his condecending and sneering and belittling of ordinary people with serious problems just to enrich himself has led me to the conclusion that he was an abusive monster with a god complex and all i can say of him and his show is Good Riddance.

Chesterfield Discussion / Re: Lifting of Covid 19 Restrictions
« on: February 10, 2022, 01:53:09 PM »
If Boris told me it gets dark through the night i would be forced to stay awake just to check.on a more serious note if you remove all quarantine rules it could lead to covid cases escalating, meanwhile under the present quaraintine rules we are still getting an average of 1500 deaths per week, remenber boris was reported to have said "let the bodies pile high" if the politiciansare not careful this statement may well come to fruition. as regard mask wearing i continue to do so but when in asda yesterday i would estimate that mask wearers were about one in ten to fifteen.

Chesterfield Discussion / Lifting of Covid 19 Restrictions
« on: February 10, 2022, 12:28:08 AM »
I see on the news that Covid restrictions are to be lifted in a couple of weeks, though on the face of it it is good news, however i wonder if Boris is prepared to put peoples lives at risk just to divert from the problems he has elsewhere only time will tell as we do not know what new or possibly more dangerous variants may be lurking just around the corner.

Politics / B.o.E. says workers should not ask for pay rises.
« on: February 05, 2022, 02:27:01 PM »
The Governer of the Bank of England states that workers should not request pay rises to mitigate rising prices.
What we have here is another self entitled half a million pound a year salaried executive fleecing the system for every last penny they can preaching abstinence to the rest of us, these people clearly do not understand irony or even fairness, it is clear they do not understand or care how ordinary people have to live just as long as they keep getting their half a million pound plus salaries.
