Title: Should David Cameron Step Down As Prime Minster?
Post by: who can tell on April 09, 2016, 01:43:16 PM
With the tax scandal and the EU vote will this be the start of Cameron's fall?

I don't think so. I think his shoulders are getting broader and he doesn't give a shit what people will remember him for.
Bit like the 'son of Maggie'  ::)

You are right there fly, David Cameron has got broad shoulders and no conscience - he won't stand down.

He's a bully Boy who is it appears always right.

If he stood down ( which I doubt he would ) we would just get another cloned  Dave.

I see he has released his Tax returns for this last year, so maybe he is fearing for his PM position?

I think (personally) that the over 50's will swing the vote to leave the EU.Right or wrong.
Whether Cameron stays in power after this remains to be seen, as detested as he is allegedly.Labour have their own problems too with Mr Corbyn whom to me seems a bit neither here or there.
However - who do you promote as a new leader of government in a post successful exit of the EU if Cameron should also fall foul of voters -if the Tory government also gets a a vote of no confidence?

A rant I made earlier:
I do not think there is anything wrong about being fervently patriotic about our country and values. No one else seems to stand up for the British way of life - it;s like we are scared too - why ? Why is it wrong. There has been much sabre rattling.Quite right too. I know we live in a multiculture which can be healthy in some areas - sadly not in all. I don't see Farage, Cameron,Corbyn or Johhnson as potential leaders. I see Cameron sweeping up the shit either way after the referendum still with his smug face all over the place saying he won anyway because he accepts the people's decision and moves on from there.

It was obvious from the start that Corbyn is 'not' a leader, he's not strong enough and his speeches are stilted, he's forever looking at his papers as he doesn't seem able to remember what he thinks on various issues?

Cameron - well who does actually like him, I'm repeating myself here but he's a bully and so are many of his party members!

Johnson, I don't really know much about TBH, he 'seemed' in the early days a bit of a drip - I'm not too sure he is now. Maybe he has been waiting quietly for his chance and the EU may well give that to him?

Meanwhile Corbyn has his own parties shit to clean up from the latest problems. Does anyone else think that it is very often the 'more senior' members of the UK who make statements of anti antisemitism it is quite interesting known as 'the oldest hatred'
it was nearer 'their era' not an excuse for them at all just pointing out what may have been fed to them by parents etc?

Going back to WCT's posts of Sheffield.
I was speaking to someone who lived and worked there and they said exactly the same thing as you started your post with scimitar - no one  seems to care about 'British' anymore and in Sheffield our culture is seemingly being 'squashed' as the influx of other countries want it made into their culture - not British - we are a country afraid of being tagged 'racist' the person said much more but i think that is enough to post on here.

I wish Cameron could be knocked of his perched - detest this individual!

This country is called Great Britain. I don't remember ever being asked to join the EU as it stands. We voted on the Common Market not for some other countries to tell us what to do.

Worth a listen if you have 20 minutes to spare! It's about how the Germans had a plan even if they lost the war to get the big financial institutions to continue to take over europe including the UK. Even after defeat. It's what you see here today.
