Apparently they let loads of them come over for a marathon race, and then allowed this film crew to mooch about for a week, unattended? What is that all about?

No, I mean, the islanders will moan about being invaded and will expect us Brits to sail thousands of miles in our boat to rescue them, but what do they do about their own security? They allow a film crew to wander all over the place for a week, filming god-knows-what. Compare that with, say, London, where if you take a photo of Nelson's Column that happens to have an off-duty copper in the bottom corner of it, you can expect to be    taken round to Bow Street and given a good shoeing   arrested. I think the Falklanders and the UK govt need to look at their own procedures in this matter before having a go at the Argies who do, after all, have "previous" where the Falklands are concerned.
