Tablet goes on sale for £30 in UK
« on: December 16, 2013, 06:58:48 PM »
Now there's no excuse not to get one. :)

"The UbiSlate 7Ci, made by UK-based company Datawind, is the commercial version of the Aakash 2 tablet, which was originally launched in India.

There, the tablet is mainly used by students and was designed to provide cheap internet access to help improve education."

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Of course there’s a catch, and for the UbiSlate 7Ci that means unimpressive specs and an outdated operating system.

Probably no better than that cheap one I bought off. Hence I went out and bought the Nexus.

Well, they sold a lot in India, I'll reserve judgement until they've sold a few over here - let's face it, that's v cheap for a tablet.
