Did anyone watch it last night - it was about private mail handling companies?
The way they literally threw items marked fragile around was disgraceful, I know people grumble about Royal Mail but at least they treat mail items with respect. Also mail (letters) were left in unsecured panniers to 'posties' cycles while they were delivering (eg to blocks of flats etc).
As an aside, my 'collection in person' laptop advertised on eBay has been sold to a guy in London, he's arranged collection by courier - this is exactly why I don't send large fragile items by courier - I only hope he's got adequate insurance in place!
