Noticed on the front of the Derbyshire Times that the landlord of the Miners Arms, New Whittington is now in the slammer for the next 12 months. The landlord even once paid his staff by giving them Cannabis and it was also possible too order some to take away. Looks like Chesterfield is catching up with Sheffield on this department.

« on: January 12, 2016, 02:09:25 PM »
Seriously thinking of moving off Arbrourthorne and leaving Sheffield all together . Ideally crackhead free and low crime if possible. Would need a good school for my daughter also good access links so my partner can still get to Sheffield for her job and mine?

« on: January 09, 2016, 06:44:54 PM »
Is their anyway to close a Hotmail account down? The reason I ask is I keep getting strange messages from people who I don't know the messages themselves are of odd nature. I had a similar problem before but was told that it was not possible to close a Hotmail account down so had to set up a new email address . Any ideas?

To clear up any misunderstanding heres my confession. I was a friend to Simon otherwise know to you as Nicheuk we used to go urban exploring together we met at the Hallamshire Hospital he was back from Iraq and I just had a work accident. Has we were on the same ward for a long time and we got to know each other. His hands were damaged and had damage to his leg I used to type his posts on here and helped him with photoing the different places we visited . It was quite a shock when he suddenly passed on but has he would say that's part of life. I hope that clears things up.

General Discussion / The Future?
« on: December 27, 2015, 07:04:45 PM »
With all the flooding in Cumbria and North Yorkshire and milder winters becoming the trend its clear climate change is happening much faster than first thought. When seeing the floods in Cumbria I remember when Sheffield was hit hard in 2007 when the Wicker , Attercliffe ,Atlas, Meadowhall were submerged in water the clean up was long and hard even now people here get jumpie if their is a heavy rainfall their has been flood defense built but given the levels of rain we now get much more rain than in 2007 and set to increase. The other knock on effect is food prices will rise as it will get harder to grow food in submerged fields , buildings that get flooded regularly will in time will be damaged beyond repair and no insurance will pay out either .

Chesterfield Discussion / Ghost Town
« on: December 18, 2015, 07:37:16 PM »
When I visit Chesterfield something else has shut down and the market is slowly thinning down . Perhaps a reflection of the times we live in and lack of money welcome to ghost town Chesterfield.

Matlock Bath the meca for bikers since who knows when intendeds to price bikers out of town. The proposals will see a huge increase in parking charges , bikers bring in money into Bath already either though buying at biker shops or food outlets but by increase in parking charges will stop many going each weekend so the towns trade will be hit hard. Matlock Bath without the bikers that in itself is a attraction will suffer at the loss of trade.

Was reading the online Guardian this morning, the RSPC has reported that sexual abuse against children is increasing year by year. As of this year 85 cases a day are been reported its clear this problem needs addressing now its gone on to long and getting worse. Rotherham, Saville cases are the high points of this epic problem. Why has it been allowed to carry on ,what can be done? . The other side of the coin is we have  children carrying knifes and prepared to use them either against themselves or their teachers. It seems childhood in the 21st century going to be a rough ride.
