I've been in around 3am (on way back from being with father in law at hospital some years ago) and I was the only customer among a lot of shelf stackers with their cages who were replenishing the shelves.  Someone had to open a check out for me!

Not UK TV but I enjoyed True Blood and absolutely loved the theme song (Bad Things by Jace Everett) https://youtu.be/MiBhZIaJsQ4

I bought one of his CD's based on my enjoyment of Bad Things, but sadly that track was the best on it  :(

Have just booked a Sun Tokens holiday for July to Hunstanton.  It's not far from the Norfolk Lavender fields which are a photographer's dream, so I can't wait for that.

We decided not to drive too far this year.  In the past we've done Dorset, Cornwall and Devon with the Sun Tokens, but it's a hell of a drive to get there and back as we seem to tire quicker these days.  Stopping off half way in a hotel gets expensive, so this year we thought we'd try somewhere within a three hour drive.

They say giving up makes you live longer.  Don't believe it, it just seems longer.

Nice one Mycul, and great to see you posting again  (y) :)

Love your pics OC.  Derwent Dams is a great favourite of mine, very photogenic place with so much scope.  :)

I had my Hen Party at the Adam and Eve.  Had loads of work parties etc. at The Aquarius and some amazing nights at The Fiesta.  Some really big names appeared in The Akka and The Fester.  I was taken one birthday to see Gladys Knight and The Pips.  Fantastic evening!

The house next door to me (attached) used to be a crack den.  I have some incredible photo's of the inside of the place that I had to lodge with a solicitor.  Cutting a long story short, I had to make moves with the council to come and board it up to keep the crackheads out.  I managed to contact the family who owned it and we worked together with the council to make it safe.  It got sold eventually much to my relief and is now owned by really lovely people who are great neighbours.  A happy ending though I realise it's not the case for everyone.

I've been checking out Wix as it seems to be a free web hosting site.  I also need somewhere to showcase some of my pictures.  Flickr is OK but its not ideal for what I want.  Tumblr slightly better as its more of a blog.

I'll be interested in what everyone else has to say about this.  :)

I like going to vintage fairs, and the ones attached here are from Lou Lou's Vintage Fair at Sheffield City Hall.  I asked permission and was told it was fine.   I love taking random shots, and the young lady in the mirror liked her picture as she'd just had a makeover.

Thanks for that.  No, I wouldn't go alone anyway.

Daughter and I are off to Benidorm tomorrow for 4 nights.  It's been a difficult year one way or the other and a few nights away will do us good.

Never been to Benidorm before, and I'm going with an open mind.  Suggestions?  Recommendations?  It's a big place and we'll not see it all in the few days we have which is why I'm looking for recommendations.  We're staying near Pontiente Beach.  Is that near the Old Town?
