Cloud Inversions

I spent a girlie day out today with my daughter and one of our close friends. We decided to start at Matlock and mosey along to Bakewell eventually. On the way out to Matlock we saw the most spectacular cloud inversion across the valley. It was absolutely breathtaking, and guess what? The camera was still at home! I took it to college last night for my course, but took it out of the car so it wouldn't suffer the extreme cold. I forgot to put it back in (dopey!) I'm so cross with myself as I've since seen lots of pictures of todays inversion on Facebook.
Here's a link to the post of my chum Chris Gilbert who had the sense to make the most of the opportunity

I won't forget again!
