We've just been googling and decided it's a California Lilac, same thing I think  ;)
Cheers Poppy  :)

It was one of the open afternoons at Park Hall Gardens (a place we have discussed before) today. I thought it was quite impressive not having been before. Too many pics to put on here I'm adding them to Facebook www.facebook.com/acslack

Personally I think our Clamatis is going to pass away this year  :(
It's just not, 'doing it', if you know what I mean.

Ours (which is the same as Emmz plant) has been looking rather sickly, insofar as it has very few flowers on it, for the past couple of years - although to be fair it is over 20 years old!  :o

I keep thinking that I'll just give it one more year, and so it goes on!

Well, our time is up. They are going to take down the wall between us and what's left of Saltergate football ground.

I've a feeling it's going to be another "end of an era" so I did a quick video so me and my rabbit can watch it at our leisure...

I'll post what's left after the demolition men have finished tomorrow.  :(

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
