Wasn't there, missed most of PeakFM's coverage.
Thoughts . .
I have gone on record as saying John Sheridan is a good manager (you can't write off last season after all, and Wembley I suppose). I thought he would turn it round after Wembley.
I'm questioning his abilities now. Its a combination of the failure to invest in quality players, & the Keith Allen appointment which has not delivered accordingly.
If,as I suspect, Sheridan is being failed investment-wise, then its a shame, because I can't see many other available managers out there who could do a better job in the same situation.
They will lose funding if they go down through fewer tickets sold, sponsorship, and I guess the money they receive from TV rights and so on.
I would really love them to stay up, but as the weeks go by - two 4-1 defeats in a week - its looking grim.
10 points of safety now. Thats too much to acheive IMHO.
