Hello everyone I'm back home in chesterfield got here today. Got off the train at 5:10pm. Well chuffed. Had a walk to m and s it's the first time in the new store. Then got some food shopping, in b and m. I love spending my money in chesterfield. Going to enjoy every minute of my time in my home town even the rain. Hope everyone is keeping well.

Only got one full day here that's Friday then back to the north east on Saturday 😭. I don't want to go back up there. I only hear my own chesterfield accent up there, no one else speaks my accent. I really don't like it in the north east of england its so depressing and things are not nice. I want to stay here forever. Going to make the most of Friday. Bought a bag with chesterfield spire on that's now 4 chesterfield bags and one Derbyshire one. Got them the other times I was here along with the two chesterfield pens and the 3 cups with the spire on and one chesterfield FC cup. Oh and got a chesterfield calendar from last year. And the chesterfield pin badges of the spire and some books as well. Yeah 'm just chesterfield obsessed ever so slightly, ok well a lot. 😂

Thanks. I'm trying to hold back the tears. So hard to do.

I'm so upset and I've cried since I left chesterfield on that train today. Watching the spire go out of my view the town going from my sight and my fellow chesterfield people. I'm not doing good at the moment. I'm so depressed now more than I was before.😭 I want to come back home.

You need to stay positive and build a constructive plan to move x

I'm trying but it's just so difficult. I have looked on places to rent in chesterfield but the house's are either for people who have children and they will get first choice or they are too expensive to rent or not in chesterfield itself. I saw some houses in clay cross and alfreton and over that way but I want too be back in chesterfield itself as I was born there and know the area or most of the streets well. I may be back in may again for another visit but it's only if I'm able to book into a hotel. With it being that coronation at the same time I don't know what is available. God I really hate it in the north east of England. 34 years away from chesterfield and I've never got used to being up here. I just don't fit in. I don't belong up here it's just way depressing and unbearable. When I went back and still saw people who I used to live with still living in the same street as I used to and people who I went to school with still there it was great. They have never moved yet my dad he up sticks and moved us when I was still at Newbold green school at the time, to then come up here and well it's been horrible ever since.

Can't get back now for a visit, trains going on strike again. Had the tickets booked and the hotel and it's all had to be cancelled. Can't believe I'm stuck in this dead end stupid seaside town another day.

There are probably private rents around. I'm not sure what prices are for monthly rents in the actual town centre, so maybe looking at surrounding villages is the answer. There will always be the chance to move again into Chesterfield. Sheffield housing association used to have properties to rent in some areas, Holmwood is one but I don't know if you would meet their criteria.
Just keep looking and something will come up.

Was in chesterfield on Friday last week for the day, staying in Sheffield this time not as anywhere near as good as chesterfield.
