Speaking of celebs how about that Katie Price!!! or as I call her Teflon Price because nothing sticks.

She was ordered by a judge to attend the next hearing or she faced jail, and she actually turned up but was let back out to "discuss" her bankruptcy with lawyers and accountants.

My 2 year old great granddaughter will go to prison before she does, I don't know how she does it.

No time for Katy price she feeds off how good she is for caring for her disabled son - so what, thousands do and you're not special for looking after your disabled child Katy - he's YOUR CHILD! get over yourself

We have had some filled in our village, unsure how long they will last ?
I put two in last month and they were filled pretty quickly, maybe just coincidence that they were in our area but I'm still pleased they were done.

Morning Smithy 266.
It was an excellent presentation about the Paupers in Derbyshire and how the system worked back then.
Life events taken from Derbtshire records were used. Very sad in some cases.
Our bext one in December is Stanton at War which I believe has some cine footage. I'll update on that  nearer thd time.

America is big on 'Tipping'
When cruising on Royal Caribbean ships there is an automatic charge up front for tipping per person.

I agree, one lady had a stomach job done which had gone wrong and looking at her lips I could have stuck her on my car window as a feature. These lips only look good on a person if they are born with them.
Did you see Katy Price a few weeks ago on the news - WOW. Chapel hat pegs or what - ridiculous, silly woman

Politics / Re: Boris shows his true colours

I saw this the other day whilst browsing the tinterweb, I immediately thought of Boris's time in the Palace of Westminster.

Old Turkish proverb translates to English as:-

" A clown can go into a palace but that does not make him a king.....it just makes the palace a circus".   Quite profound I thought.

I didn't watch the Olympics. Don't get a lot of time to watch the box.

I doubt we will get to know the truth but as pensioners we are of no use to them for voting are we.
They want the young ones with a longer life expectancy.
We should take a leaf out of Viv Windsors book and
SPEND
SPEND
SPEND
😅

I rarely use online for buying.
I have witnessed one delivery agent put a parcel down takexa photo pack parcel up and walk vack down tge oath with it.
To me it's not concrete proof it's been delivered.
I was at a junction in the car at the time.

I went to a coffee morning yesterday the pensioners are not happy.
Worked the majority of their lives and being penalised for their savings was the general view.
