What's good on the TV?
« on: February 19, 2013, 08:02:12 PM »
Bored with telly at the mo - anyone got any suggestions as to what is worth watching? As said before I like drama, humour and serious political stuff - but am open to suggestions.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Got Mrs Brown's boy's live tour on DVD if you want to borrow it.

Surely there's something on to watch.
Were currently watching Supersize Vs Superskinny  :o

Another programme we've been watching recently is 'Baggage Battles'.

I record stuff to watch at a later time, so scouting in the paper is a good idea.
We watched the penguins last night - brill! but i recorded the prison doc so going to watch that tonight. We are enjoying Mr Selfridge but prob not your thing - however have recorded Ripper street and can't get into them for some reason. It all comes down to individual pref doesn't it.

Halfway through the 1st series of "Lie to me" at the moment. Pretty good so far, quite clever.  :)

Ooh.. I saw that - thought it, and Tim Roth, were great. Loving "Suits" at the mo.

My favourite recent comedy has just come to the end of the series..Great Night Out. Perhaps friday evening slot was bad timing if aimed at those who like a great night out

I used to like sex on the telly. The sets are much thinner nowadays though and it hurts her back.
