Don't laugh I'm serious with this.
Have any of you come across paper that once wet won't dry?
The reason I'm asking is a few days ago some bank statements got wet across the top.
I spread them out on the carpet in a spare bedroom and left them for two or three days.
When I went to gather them up - they were still wet!
Soooo I put them over two radiators and eventually they dried.
Brilliant!!
I left them on my dressing table with intentions of filing them the following day - only to find -------- they were wet again?????
How strange! :-?

No damp in our home at all hifimad.
Even after being on radiators it didn't feel like paper.
No idea what type of paper banks use - recycled toilet paper maybe ?
