FLYYYYYYYYY
« on: January 16, 2015, 11:02:46 AM »
My little chutchy woochy friend, bestest mate ever  :-*  :-*  :-*

Err I have a problem  :-[

Need to put together some invites and think I have ticked/unticked I shouldn't have  :-[

How do I get the Publisher invites up and to display the 1234 at the bottom to put together all four pages of the invites.
If that makes sense?

I know I have asked in the past but forgotten what you told me to do
My bestest bestest mate  :))

On the top menu click File
Then click New
Then click Blank Publications

The card options are there. Not sure how you stick the selection box to the start screen. It will be in the options or settings menu somewhere.

Can't open up the invite, only have a view of the front - bottom left hand corner should read 1 -23 - 4 so I can add to the middle and back

1: On the top menu click File
Then click New
Then click Blank Publications
Click Full Page

2: Top menu click Insert
Then click Page
Do 2: twice more. This will give you four page tabs.

Then save it. All 4 pages will be saved in one file.
Don't forget to save at intervals whilst working on the pages.

Is that what you meant ?  ;)

No that's not it Fly.
If you make a card birthday, Christmas etc it can be folded so that all 4 sides have something on.
1 is the front, 2&3 is the middle, 4 is the back.
Once printed it's just a case of folding the paper twice to make the card up.

The numbers are generally situated on the left bottom corner of the card.
I can move between each page to add/ alter what I want just by clicking on the numbers.

It has been working and I printed one off yesterday, but decided to alter the border in the middle - hey ho no numbers, which means I can't get past the front page of the card!

Going back to my first suggestion, don't you see this (part) screen ?
It automatically adds the pages for you.

When I click on 'Side Fold card' option, a box pops up and asks me if I want the extra pages adding.
Without actually sitting at your puter, I'm lost  :(

Ended up calling IT support
It wouldn't work for them either.
Did a system restore which hopefully will have sorted it.
Thanks for trying Fly  :-*
