Does anyone know what is now happening to this hotel?
I've heard it has been sold and the 'for sale' signs have been taken down.
What's happening with it??

I thought the DT last week reported that the purchaser had a few option in mind but had not yet made a decision.Maybe another hotel or luxury flats.
I think it will be a hotel for all the cyclists that use the new cycle routes round the town.

Apparently they have £300,000 to renovate it with ::)

Someone was in it yesterday as I drove past because the lights were on inside :)

The DT article i saw said they are spending £300k on it...not that they only have £300k to spend on it. Slight difference!

Just repeating what I'd seen elsewhere. They could have £3,000,000 for all I know LOL
I can't believe they got it so cheaply! Between the four of them it was barely the price of a house each. They said they are spending £300,000 on upgrading it but not said they are reopening it as a hotel. I wouldn't be surprised if it became luxury flats with their own leisure facilities

What part of Hertfordshire … I am from Hertford (now living in Dronfield) and might be able to help is it river or lakes and what sort of fish is it you want to catch
