Wining one battle doesn't win a war OC.

If you want to be proactive, find which working men voted Conservative and kick 'em in the goolies...  :))

Great day in parliament today and Jeremy Corbin's first major wins over the Conservative mean machine. Nasty George Osborn had to do a £4.4billion U turn to prevent him and Cameron become the most despised men in the country, with their penchant for hurting the worst off people in the UK.

After their defeat in the House of Lords which fair cheered me up, they threw their dolls out of the pram, and I expected more trouble as a result. But as the level of complaints kept rising, including Tories, some from Cameron's own constituency, even that thick-skinned pair had to back down.

Remember this day folks, it shows there is still some compassion left in this country.

Let's hope this is the start of a turn away from these evil monsters and their obsession with making more money for the very rich.

Rants / Re: Are we too impatient when driving?

I too think we are too impatient when driving. If folks calmed down and behaved themselves there would be less stress all round.

As regards to story of the police car, I think this is indicative of the current attitude to traffic lights. We all learned to proper sequence of lights and what they meant. Now the meanings are green equals go, amber equals go and red means only two more cars before stop...

Interesting news OC - I've been watching Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's programs on Monday evenings and they featured Fareshare and similar ideas. The program's quite an eyeopener.
