Title: Chesterfield F.C
Post by: Scimitar on January 03, 2016, 06:13:55 PM
Well done Danny in your first proper match in charge for Chesterfield F.C.!
We expected a tough game - but to run out 7-1 winners was outstanding to say the least.
Confidence in the players own abilities seems to have been instantly restored - just shows what a change in manager can do.
Danny has lived in Chesterfield for last 30 years or so, and had a successful spell in the team as a player when he was younger.
I reckon he will be the best manager we have had in a very long time - time will tell of course, but let's hope I'm right.
COYB!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             (y)

Its not really a football thing but a sport thing in general where we play as separate nations rather than as Great Britain. In things like football, cricket, rugby, hockey and probably a few others the likes of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland will use their own national anthems whereas England will use God Save the Queen. I can see where the likes of Toby Perkins are coming from with it and wouldnt be against it that much.

Don't see as it matters that much - we'll still lose :(
