Had an interesting morning shopping for someone who doesn't like shopping I quite enjoyed myself, I reckon it must have been the 'challenge'
After doing daughters run hubby and I went to lidl (sorry JR)
Shopped around, checking on prices and bought some more of their cheaper stuff to try.
Spent £33.00 for quite a trolley full of fresh foods, bread, and other stuff.
Mind you their Daz is 99p dearer than tesco
so I passed on that.
Got to the check out realised we hadn't taken any bags!!
Sugar!! Have to pay for them here!
Ran down the isle (yes ran!! ) grabbed some boxes - phew! - saved a few more pennies there
Toddled off to Morrisons ( sorry JR ) as we had a £10.00 voucher from the Mail unique numbers we collect.
Bought yogurts I couldn't get in Lidl and a few other bits which came to just over £11.00.
Hubby suggested we get a drink in the cafe - don't think we can afford it I said straight faced - but my eyes gave me away and he laughinglt told me he would have to sell his body then!
Huh! That won't even buy your coffe love!
Had free entertainment whilst we sat with out drinks looking through a window.
Elderly person took 5 attempts to reverse park!
He kept going up onto one of the little islands they have
Eventually after attempt 4, female passenger got out, at this point the chaps side of the car was up on the island and her side much lower, so we presumed she just rolled out!
Anyway she stomped off in the direction of the stores entrance, leaving him to finally manage the parking (only just mind)
He then kept reversing back and hit the hedge at the back
EEEEE I had tears running down me legs
Oh and on the way out we got some petrol as that was just a tad cheaper than tesco!
