How are you getting on with it Flyboy?
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I'll try and answer any questions about me and the tablet in one post, this one  :)
Not spending a lot of time on the forum cos my heads buried in the tablet LOL

Love the interface and touch screen.
Battery lasts about 2 hours, disappointed.
Can't tether to Wifi Ad-Hoc connections. IE. No internet connection if there's no direct Wifi available.
I've got a program running on my phone. I can connect to the internet from my laptop via my phone. Anywhere :-)
The tablet won't connect. Full stop !!!!!!!!!!
It's a Google or Andriod security issue apparently.

Got a free Office app installed, but can't expand cells of an existing spread sheet on the tablet.
So I can't see all the info :-(

Plus I stood on the USB keyboard lead and broke it, so I only have half a screen to look at.
The rest is took up with the bloody on-screen keyboard.

Other than that, every things fine, thanks for asking LOL ;-)

Just downloaded 'What About Dick' and copied it to the tablet.
Will be able to watch it at work  :)

As long as I take the charger  ::)

Are you sure about the time between charges on the tablet - seems very short to me.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I think that's what you get for buying a cheap model Pete.
Not a problem when I'm at work, will be a bit limited abroad taking advantage of free wifi in the reception area though.
But I'm sure an hour a day will suffice. Still got my trusty phone  ;)

Just put a 32GB SD card in it. Loading it with a few albums now   :)

Actually I've just been looking at battery life comparrison charts - looks like we both need to save up for the Google Nexus 7 - it runs on full power/brightness/volume for seven and a half hours...

I want one!  :))

@ Pete That's what I bought my hubby for Christmas, 32gb which thought was quite good
All I have to do is see if I can use it now so I show him how to use it  ::)

So I can't connect to the internet through my mobile phone.
I can with my TalkTalk wifi at home, or with free wifi in pubs, bars, hotels etc.

Android/Google don't allow ad-hoc wifi connections on their tablets.
Literally thousands of people, over the last 3 years have been asking Google to implement this feature with no joy.

I bought mine from PC World it had a £20.00 money back offer on it --- only I have to wait 30 days (I think) before claiming it, which will be around Jan 2nd.
I am just trying to get my hubby used to using the internet via mobile and now on my PC - he's not  doing too badly. Hoping the tablet will be better for him ----  ::)
