Remember when we used to go sledging at Chatsworth when I was a kid. Can't be done with snow now.

First snowfall this morning we had almost an inch of snow, just been to daughters in north Wingfield and they've only had a dusting.

I've had to cancel two hospital appointments for my daughter. She uses a powered wheelchair  and no way am I attempting to take her as there is snow on ice on paveents and in the car park

The council's need to get the grit on the roads and pavements. People pay enough in council tax yet sometimes if not all the time you are now buying bags of grit yourself because the council's hide theirs our of the way of the public.

The street where I live the sun never gets on it so it's still like an ice rink, went up to the shop yesterday and nearly went my full length twice
I am not a pessimist, I just help them out when they're busy.

People have said that you should put socks on the sole of your shoes when you have to walk on the ice. Apperantly it works but you get funny looks from other people.
