It seems to be a bit of a none event. Not much seems to be going on??
I've actually seen a poster in a house window saying 'Not my King' ::)

Heard on the car radio this morning that people are already starting to camp out on the Mall in readiness for the coronation on Saturday.

Just how much spare time do these people have??? certainly more time than brain cells!

Some man was arrested outside the palace as he was going to kill Charlie the big question is who gets to kill Camilla then

Man arrested at Buckingham Palace, police found a knife and did a controlled explosion on his rucksack................
Security minister Tom Tugendhat said of the incident " A fantastic piece of policing"

Good god what do you want..a medal? they are doing their jobs, stop over dramatising one "small" incident.

At Saturdays coronation there will be approximately 6000 armed forces personnel on duty, not to mention 14.5% of the whole of the countries police force will be there, also private security, personal protection details for the royals including security details for visiting dignitaries.
Does Charles really understand what this shindig is costing the taxpayer......of course he does but he doesn't care... it's his big day!

It's like getting married...you can pay thousands for a fairy tale wedding, that's o.k. if you can afford one {or whoever's paying for it} or you can be sensible and have a small well budgeted do or even get hitched in the registry office and save a fortune, the outcome will be exactly the same.

This "Look at me everyone I'm your new king" bash on Saturday is NOT going to increase his popularity or the royals in general.

So that's that then...............

Was it worth the £100 million price tag?

It comes to something when on your "big day" you invite literally perfect strangers to your do, mingle and speak to some of them.

Yet your own flesh and blood has to sneak in, sit in the 1/9's and slink away afterwards.
