Typical bank holiday weather not helping either. Bugger all on the TV, kids are bored, blah, blah....

3 1/4 hours sat in the car, in the rain, mainly in traffic. Brill day. LOL

Never mind, Bank Holidays could be a thing of the past because they cause a downturn in the economy.
Better "enjoy" them whilst we can......

So why don't we go out and enjoy ourselves?  I propose a NEW BETTER IMPROVED Forum meet, where everybody can enjoy themselves.
I realise that we don't all live in Chesterfield so I suggest 26th April at a venue close to all of us.
Perhaps the Somerset Arms or White Hart.
Any ideas, or do we go back to the old venue.  (And no I don't mean the Spread Eagle where somebody pinches the food).
If I can get a mini bus we can even go to Fly's :-*

Heard that on the radio on the way back earlier.
Get back to work you idle sod, we don't deserve holidays  >:(

You'd all be welcome, but it's only a small house.  ;)

Going by the old forum meetings you would only have to provide seating for 8 folks.

I'm up for it - preferably in town, but open to suggestions. :)

BTW never worry about the numbers - small meet-ups have the best conversations.

If it was White Hart or Somerset, Maybe, just maybe, I would make an appearance. I'm within staggering distance of both. Depends on my shifts of course which I don't know yet - should be on earlies methinks.

White Hart is apprently better than Somerset. Drinks a bit cheaper.Somersets a bit tatty by all accounts although I've not been in either for a while. I'm taking advice from SWMBO :-X

Town centre better as it's reachable by bus for most but Calow ain't too far out, maybe a taxi share can be arranged

Count us two out. We don't go out midweek when the schools are on.
Make it a Saturday, and we might reconsider  ;)

We even got the family to arrange Our_Lasses aunties 80th birthday from a Friday to a Saturday.
