Title: Facebook Buys Instagram for a Billion Dollars!

Wow! That's a lot of money for a profitless, two-year-old photo sharing application.

I'm downloading it for the iPhone - will have a play with it and see what the fuss is all about. I've heard it's part of a Facebook long term strategy.

Anyone know anything about Instagram?

Isn't it just another way of passing your ID all over the t'internet.
Most digital cameras store lots of info within the actual picture.
