saw it earlier - bless him - 69 years old and still protesting. :)
-
At least Mr Perkins in looking into his case ::)
-
Israel is a terrorist state that USA won't say a bad word about
-
He must have known it would not have been easy to get in there.
Israel is very strict about visitors, when we went their immigration officers took over the whole ship and saw every single passenger face to face themselves, if you had certain countries visited stamped in your passport - they wouldn't let you in!
Having said that once on the coach and out walking we felt very safe (and didn't see armed guards around either as in some countries).
Wouldn't like to go it alone there though --- brave and foolish
-
Excusing his age, didn't he go there purposely to make a point ?
Point made now. The press are talking about him.
Who pays to get him back to Blighty ?
-
Exactly, Fly - "We will probably get detained again like we did last time."
He knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed.
-
But have the National papers picked on his story.
I think not :(
-
Never too sure what the small fries think they can achieve especially in countries like that.
-
Maybe he believes in the old saying, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."
-
He's also quite brave - check out the treatment of this demonstrator by the Israelis.
Israeli soldier suspended after hitting protester with gun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsN-VROJEKU#ws)
-
Ouch, some nice soldiers out there :(
-
That's nothing - Israeli's dropped phosphorus bombs on a school, killing two small children and blowing the legs of a 19 year old in this video. And this is only the tip of the iceberg - they are an evil bunch.
Israel Hits UN School in Beit Lahiya (good report English) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmT0MjlPpRo#ws)

I don't think me and Our_Lass will be having 2 weeks jollies in Israel in the near future 8)
-
Aye - wild horses couldn't drag me to Israel - or it's sponsors, the US.
-
Yeh and the good men die - and still nothing gets done, been at it for years over there 6 0f one -
Never wanted to holiday in the USA either.
We visited Israel to see Jerusalem/Bethlehem and there is the biggest wall dividing them with armed guards at the entrance. Jerusalem, is divided into religous sections where each religion has to keep to their own bit.
The lot of them need to look closely at themselves.
We are pretty cocooned here but don't really appreciate it at times

I boycott all Israeli products (I always look to see where the items I buy come from) and even buy Jaffa cakes.
-
They seem to have disproportionate influence in the west, and while I'm ranting why are they allowed in our song contest and football tournament when they aren't even it Europe?
-
I was talking to 'er indoors about him last night and she reckons it's the same old chap who demonstrates outside Marks & Spencers on his own, handing out leaflets pointing out that they give a percentage of their profits to Israel.
I read one once and stopped shopping there ever since except for my pants
-
They bomb us if we don't let them join ???
Joking as usual.
I have an online friend from another forum. 'NOT CF', his son's a musician.
I'll try and dig one of his tracks out. He's not too bad.

I've included the previously missing word...
I think the west has to keep them sweet so they don't bomb Iran and start another war.
My pants are by 'George' at Asda, much more comfy (seriously).
