Does any of the seniors on here remember Shape of the Rain? They were a local band who got a recording deal in the late 60s early 70s.
Anyway I saw a Tweet today by Ellie Hunter, with a link to one of their songs on YouTube, for anyone that's interested. Apparently Ms Hunter is writing an article about them and states that they are reformin.

Can't say I remember them , will ask hubby.
Lovely to be called a senior instead of an old git by the way ;)

I remember seeing them at the Barrow Hill hotel, around 1969 I think it was - good band. A lot of my mates had the Riley, Riley, Wood and Waggett album - but I was more into Hendrix...

Hendrix - ok but not my thing. Didn't mind Dylan but my favourites were the fab four 8)

I remember seeing them at the Barrow Hill hotel.........................
You only went there to ogle the topless barmaids!! ;)

Never saw 'em - but then, I was a clean living lad. :)

One of Dave McPhies groups (or as we knew him Jock Macpie).
They were the first group I ever saw with a bottle neck slide guitar.
If they are coming back I reckon Harry Greibson String Band should come back as well.
Oh, shit, that means money as I haven't got a drum kit anymore.

If I had my way you could have my hubbies drum kit - it's just sitting there under sheets. Think he is waiting for his come back --- the oldest swinger in town!!! ;)
