Title: Drought
Post by: Pete on April 19, 2012, 05:21:58 PM: I was driving towards Baslow this morning and the little waterfall was in full flood, literally. It's been pretty much dried up for years, but today it was a massive torrent - and very pretty... :)

I think we've had enough rain these last few days to last a month or two.

Post by: Alsatian on April 19, 2012, 07:40:12 PM: I think the way to go on this one is that the next time they want some rain, just get Peak FM to mention on their news programme that we are officially in drought........it hasn't stopped raining since they last mentioned it!!!!!! 8)

Quick get them to announce the weather is rubbish, then sit back and watch the mercury rise...
