I'd assume Stand Road as well hence the Racecourse pub but I stand to be corrected

I don't know the precise location but I think it was about where the Cricketers pub now stands. My great-grandparents rented rooms there and, on race days, my great grand-mother used to make and sell ice-cream around the course. :)

After a bit of research - Stand Road it is and like Aitch said where the Cricketers Pub is now. Taken in the 20's it shows "the finishing post, Judges box and "new" stand". Those people on the left look very high up to me. I don't know what health and safety would make of that! Apparantley the fun fair was there too :)
