Title: Rebekah Brooks to be charged with perverting the course of justice

As the title says...

This whole sordid story is finally coming to a head and Rebeka Brooks starts what I hope will be a long list of dodgy politicians, reporters, private investigators and the heart of the Murdock empire getting their comeuppance.

Will Cameron, Hunt and other top politicians be dragged into it? I do hope so.

I think the British public deserve better than this, a government entrenched in sleaze and a police force that seriously needs looking at with its allegations of bribery - not to mention the wholesale phone hacking that was highlighted after the truth of the Milly Dowler scandal became public.

Perverting the cause of justice, with-holding information.
Only mentioned this to Pete last week when I called round.
It'll be some menial penalty/fine  :o

I read months ago that Murdoch paid her either one or one and a half million last year when it hit the fan and she had to step down.

HIGNFY was brilliant.

Pity this whole sham will cost millions in taxes by the time its over, and nothing really will change, and RB will end up with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

He's already resigned. As posted by me on another thread. Rats on a sinking ship.

I'm so glad I'm going away next week. The heat's getting to me  ;)
