Went past Morrisons at Staveley earlier, 133.9p at the moment.
Nice to see its come down, now it needs to keep going down.

Petrol is 52.8p per litre.

I wouldn't get too excited, there's a tax rise due on fuel in August. I suspect this drop in prices will be the government's justification for going ahead with it. "But you won't be paying anymore than you were in May." Then the oil companies will up their prices and we'll be paying over 150p a litre by October.

I was paying £1.50 a litre for diesel a few weeks ago, now its down to £1.40. Heard on the news that there are bigger falls on the way as wholesale costs have plummeted. Agree with Dave though, tax rises will take care of that! But when wholesale costs go up again, they won't reduce the tax again so we'll be worse off.

Theres a Morrisons in Mansfield, and considering I live just around the corner from their Staveley branch, notice that this one is always about 5p a litre cheaper.
(Though that might be because the people of Mansfield can only count so high.) ;)
