After weeks of incessant rain, we finally get some sun and I have to drive over the Cat & Fiddle today, sweating like a pig!
Global warming - or are they out to get me? >:( :(
-
Out to get you Pete - that's what I have heard anyway :)) Get some air con in ;)
-
My last two cars have had aircon, I'd never buy a car without it now.
-
Dashboard Tuesday 36 :o
Wednesday 35 highest.
Today 33 highest.
-
@ Fly --- blimey that's hot!! Mine was reading 27 yesterday.
-
Depends where the sensor is and whether the car has been parked for sometime. In mine it always reads hotter as I start the engine then, after a few miles, airflow cools it and the reading drops...
...or it's faulty and is reading abnormally high :)
-
Car had been parked on Vicar lane for about 20 minutes.
It dropped to 30 by the time I was zooming down the motorway half hour later ;)
Think it reads a little high in hot weather.

It's given 78f for Sunday ---- 8) 8)

Hoo-bl00dy-ray someones given it out in 'English money', saves me the hassle of converting it!! ;)
I'll bet 10 bob someone has a wisecrack!!! :))
-
@ Alsatian --- I hate having to convert it as well ==== can never remember how much to add to it=============== goes away thinking ============= ;)
-
No need to convert it :
0 is freezing point (much easier to remember than 32)
10 is 'put a woolie on'
20 is 'comfortable'.
30 is 'sweltering'
Simples... ;)

For a rough guide I just double it and add 30, works for average temperatures but goes a bit awry at either ends of the thermometer ;)

[°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5 ⁄ 9
eg 78f -32 = 46 x 5 = 230 / 9 = 25.55c
[°F] = [°C] × 9 ⁄ 5 + 32
eg 25.55c x 9 = 229.95 / 5 = 45.99 + 32 = 77.99f
Easy when you know how ::)

Fly - that's utter crap, you've only got it to 2 decimal places - I need it to be much more accurate than that!!! :))
