I'm a little worried that my rabbit is going to overheat - he's panting like mad today - making me nervous... :(
Anyone got any tips?
-
Just keep him in the shade and make sure he gets lots of water. Our dogs the same, he can't be bothered to move.
-
That's the worrying thing, his hutch is in the shade 90% of the day - just maybe the first hour it catches some sun.
We keep him topped up with fresh water, but he hardly touches it.
Poor little fella's panting for England... :(
-
Give him a pool...

Wow! Can rabbits swim? I'd deffo do that for him. :)

Maybe some water wings and a pair of flippers? :D
-
Put a fan blowing on the rabbit but not to close to make it too cold.

Whoops.... it should have been a pic of a bunny relaxing in in a bowl of water.... :-[
Anyways, I've since learned that is a bad idea unless the water is warm - bunnies don't like cold water.
