I've never known it so busy in all the years i've been there.

Used to go there frequently, lovely place to go and walk hope it stayed fine for you today.  :)

Pleased about that, makes the park very enjoyable when it's dry, brings back some great memories for me.

Went there last summer on one of the hottest days, first time for years.

Hawkwind & Curved Air are 2 bands I saw back in the 70s even before Strawbs. Not sure about Brit Floyd though cheaper than the real thing.

My most prolific concert going days were when I was at Salford ('75 to '78) and Hawkwind was possibly the best gig I went to
