has been awarded a gong in the birthday honours list for 'Services to the community of Chesterfield'.
Anyone got the first clue who she is?

Never heard of this lady either. my daughter won an award for service to the community several years ago (says proud mum puffing out her chest) NO Comments from any clever b---ers on here ;D ;)

My great grandfather got an MBE, no idea what for wish I could find out

@Slacker re your great grandad - if you let me have some details, name, birthdate, rough date of receiving MBE, area he lived, poss occupation, I'll see what I can find. :)
